Kancil Awards

The Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) is accepting submissions for the 30th Annual Kancil Awards Festival. Touted as the largest and most prestigious awards show in the country, the Kancil Awards Festival is an annual event organised by the 4As to honour the best creative work and the brightest advertising practitioners in the industry.

Members of the 4As are invited to submit their entries, which must be published, circulated, shown or aired in Malaysia or any international media between September 23, 2007 to October 10, 2008.

In line with this year’s theme of “Change the Game”, all entries will be judged by a panel of eminent local and foreign creative directors who have produced game-changing works.

To further underscore the 4As effort to maintain transparency and objectivity during judging, the foreign judges are mostly from independent agencies. The local jury will comprise of the creative heads from the top 6 agencies at this year’s Adfest, Asian Advertising Awards, Clio, D&AD, Cannes and One Show. At no time may any judge -- local or international – vote for his/her network’s work or work which he/she has been involved in.
