In pre-pandemic 2020, the food advertising world was dominated by huge, multi-million dollar campaigns.
None larger than Burger King’s whopper of a campaign featuring a preservative free burger going mouldy over time.

Could we capitalize on this burger hype to promote our PERi-PERi Chicken Burger on a microscopic budget?

Solution

We realised that our own preservative free PERi-PERi Chicken Burger would never be able to get mouldy…
…because it is too tasty to remain uneaten.

So we created a simple social post in response, featuring our fiery, flavourful burger in the best way possible…by NOT showing it.

Save for a few leftover crumbs.
