Brief

Christmas is widely celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm.
Shopping malls are extensively decorated with Santa Claus, Christmas trees and reindeers with Christmas carols playing in the background.

However, religious sensitivity has always been an issue. Different beliefs and opinions have led to heated arguments among Malaysians. IPC wanted to show that it is a mall that accepts everyone, and that Christmas is a celebration for all.

Solution

Introducing Little Big Christmas. A told a story about Christmas, a religious celebration, to show inclusivity through a Bigfoot family. We told a story about Smallie, who felt like he didn’t belong in his family of Giants. He tried his best to join in on his family’s Christmas spirit but constantly felts out of place. At the end of the story, he experienced a Christmas miracle that made him feel accepted, and his love for his family grew even bigger.
