Brief

Bak-kwa (meat jerky) has always been a traditional festive food in our Chinese culture. The only time you’ll think of having a piece of meat-jerky, is by your granny’s house during Chinese New Year. As the industry leader, Oloiya has always tried to innovate in their business. Hence, breaking out of the stereotype of bak-kwa being a traditional festive food is the first step. But the question is, how can we do it?

Solution

The idea of Bak-off is to redefine how we portray bak-kwa as a Chinese traditional festive food, introducing a completely new way, new look and even new flavour to it. Brand carries a young, bold tone to expand their target audience to a younger group of people, at the same time reflecting its business nature of being a snack. Resonative and easy-digest copywriting are the main elements for Bak off. Now, there’s no reason for you not to eat bak-kwa , sit back and get the bak-off!
