Performing arts are not merely a display of technical skills but also a test of how performers touch the hearts of the audience with their talent. However, in Malaysia, a country known for its diverse ethnic groups and cultures, each race has a rich cultural history, including unique musical traditions. Souls Impact Percussion, a local percussion group founded in 2014, has taken the foundation of festival drums and expanded the possibilities of music, using drums to resonate deeply with people. We are honoured to have Coach - Cross Chin, the founder of the group, participate in this documentary. Through this film, we hope that the audience will get to know “Souls Impact Percussion” and gain a deeper understanding of Malaysia’s percussion culture.
