DREAM BIG SALTED FISH

Rational

Inspired by Stephen Chow’s iconic quote from Shaolin Soccer (2001), this publication expands the quote and dives deep like a fish. At the same time, it pays homage to cultural references of salted fish in Malaysia. It’s always better to be sizzling with potential than just… salty. This publication portraying the pursuit of dreams amidst ordinary life, reflecting how humor, culture, and perseverance intertwine within Asian identity. Through playful visuals of Malaysia’s love affair with salted fish in traditional dishes across different communities.
