Spirit of The River: Zongzi Realgar Wine Bottle Design
By combining wine and zongzi, the bottle becomes a modern symbol of remembrance. The bottle represents the river, and the stopper represents the dragon, guardian of the waters. Zongzi placed inside appear to float like offerings in the river, while the Japanese rice ball–style wrapping keeps hands clean. This design revives a forgotten story through a form that’s functional, cultural, and timeless.
