Layers of Faces visualises the Kuala Lumpur Art Book Fair’s creative soul through fluid motion and tactile design. Each morphing face embodies an artist’s layered identity of what’s seen, shared, and hidden, revealed like pages in a zine. Handcrafted textures merge with digital compositing, blending analogue imperfection and digital precision. Motion becomes metaphor: transformation through creation. Designed as the 2025 key visual, the piece adapts seamlessly across mediumsl screen, print, and merchandise, reflecting KLABF’s evolution from print to motion culture. The result is a poetic fusion of VFX and graphic design that humanises the art of self-expression.
