Kizan: Blood Moon is a cross-disciplinary collaboration between the Digital Animation and Illustration departments, transforming student concept art into motion. Set in a mythic feudal-Asian realm, it depicts the clash between Miyuri, a lone warrior, and her corrupted nemesis, who is ensnared by a cursed cocoon that manifests as a mind-controlling moth and monstrous spirit. The project celebrates the fusion of visual storytelling and animation craftsmanship, translating painterly illustration into dynamic, cinematic action. Kizan: Blood Moon embodies the shared pursuit of artistry and technical excellence, where design and animation unite to breathe life into a world of honor, corruption, and redemption.
