In today’s fast-paced society, people are constantly pressured to perform, achieve, and stay ahead, often at the expense of their mental well-being.

The Art of Not Trying Too Hard was created as a visual protest against this culture of overexertion and burnout. Through playful typography and the laid-back tone of visual storytelling, the project redefines “laziness” as an act of self-preservation and mindfulness. It invites viewers to slow down, embrace imperfection, and find value in rest and simplicity. The accompanying character, Tido the Crocodile, symbolizes calm resistance, reminding us that ease, too, can be a form of strength.
