Tido the Crocodile is the symbol of The Art of Not Trying Too Hard. With half-closed eyes, a lazy grin, and a permanent chill aura, Tido drifts through life one nap at a time. He’s unbothered by the rush, the noise, or the endless chase for success, because he knows that slowing down is its own kind of wisdom. Whether he’s floating in a pond or lounging under the sun, Tido reminds us that it’s okay to take things slow, breathe, and simply exist without overdoing it.
Reptiles were chosen as the main inspiration because they mirror the emotional and behavioral patterns of modern society. Being cold-blooded animals, they rely on external warmth to survive, much like employees who wear poker faces to work each day, appearing emotionless and detached in a system that drains their energy. Reptiles spend much of their time basking under the sun or in stillness, embodying the laziness and calm that define The Art of Not Trying Too Hard. Alongside Tido, his two pals, a lizard and a turtl
