This entry reimagines typography as a narrative tool, merging cultural folklore with type design to preserve and reinterpret traditional stories through visual form. By examining symbolic motifs, emotional tone and character dynamics within the chosen folklore, the typeface incorporates meaningful shapes and rhythmic structures that reflect the essence of the tale. The project positions typography beyond functional communication; treating each letter as an artifact carrying memory, identity, and cultural heritage. This fusion allows folklore to be experienced in new ways, particularly by younger audiences who engage visually. The rationale highlights how design can honour cultural origins while evolving them into modern, expressive systems that celebrate diversity, storytelling and the living archive of folklore.
