MKNK, an upcoming Malaysian singer-songwriter wanted to release a song entitled Love Me. He wanted a video clip that could capture the meaning of the song, and give it the love and craft that make it go “love me”.
To really capture the meaning of the song, and give it “the feels” that it deserves with a limited budget, we decided to produce an animated music video instead. Using the hand-drawn technique, every frame was drawn meticulously to bring out the feel that MKNK wanted. Every frame is literally a painting, that brings out the emotion of every single word in the lyrics.
