Create brand love for Astro with a Hari Raya TVC that resonates with the younger generation without alienating older viewers.
To appeal to a younger digital native generation, Astro pivoted from the conventional Hari Raya TVC approach and instead released a 21-minute Hari Raya short film on its streaming platform, Astro GO, where it became the Top 5 watched show/film for the Hari Raya period. It peaked even higher, at No.4, on Astro’s PayTV platforms during the same period. It was also released for free on Astro’s website, YouTube and Facebook, and garnered 1.1 Million Total Digital Views. Brand love on social media was evident from the positive reviews, compliments and comments of a relevant Hari Raya story well told.
