Malaysia is a country filled with foodies. And the food we love the most? Chicken. In fact, Malaysia has one of the highest per capita chicken consumption rates in the world. But people were falling out of love with Nando’s chicken. Because for the longest time, we never told them what makes our world-famous PERi-PERi chicken so special.

Solution

If there’s something Malaysians love more than chicken, it’s karaoke. And the song that dominates every karaoke chart? 90s love ballad, Belaian Jiwa by Innuendo. So we took Malaysia’s unofficial anthem of love, soul, and passion, Belaian Jiwa, and changed the lyrics to make it all about the love, soul, and passion Nando’s puts into making our PERi-PERi chicken.
