Winter, as a project, is a love letter to thatgamecompany’s Sky and Journey as these games mean something to us, the filmmakers. There is no better way to say thank you, but to make an excellent and beautiful short film to pay tribute to them, and at the same time carry the identical spirit from the games.
It was not an easy task especially for us, as students from an art college called Dasein, and with minimal resources, unlike the fancy unis and colleges. But, with perseverance, we pushed through and completed the film. It had hit some heartstrings and I truly wished more people could see and admire the film.
