Bright My Guide is an AR mobile app designed to empower individuals with color blindness to confidently select ripe fruit. Subtle color differences often make ripeness hard to detect, leading to frustration, waste, and reduced shopping enjoyment. Using advanced object and color detection, the app provides real-time audio feedback, transforming grocery shopping into a stress-free, inclusive experience. Developed in collaboration with MBG Fruit, Bright My Guide bridges accessibility and convenience, ensuring everyone can make informed choices. By combining technology with social good, the project not only enhances everyday life but also promotes independence, confidence, and inclusivity for the color-blind community.
