L.AI SYOK ல reimagines Malaysia’s cultural heritage through digital innovation, combining 2D and 3D motion graphics projected onto a 3D-printed historic Penang Town Hall. The name blends Chinese “来”, Malay “syok”, and Tamil “ல” to symbolise unity in diversity, while “AI” represents technology learning from tradition. Featuring local elements like the wau, traditional desserts, childhood toys, and Sang Kancil as a symbol of intelligence, the project shows how culture and technology can merge to form a modern Malaysian identity that is vibrant, adaptive, and proudly rooted in its heritage.
