Ramadan is a time for purification, patience and restraint. However, a simple scroll through social media channels showed otherwise. Malaysians were venting their anger on just about anything, therefore defeating the true meaning of Ramadan. So we decided to redefine the meaning of ‘watch your mouth’ by helping fellow Muslims better express their frustrations, to avoid breaking their Ramadan obligations.
With #JagaMulut (literally translates to ‘Watch Your Mouth’), we hijacked Malaysia’s conversations across social media platforms and ‘cleansed’ their negative sentiment with a quirky response to their original conversations throughout the month.
