We were tasked with launching the new 737-8 when we learnt a fun fact while researching: We’ve been working with Boeing for 75 years. In fact, we’ve been operating 737s since the 1960s, being one of the few airlines to operate 7 out of the 30 first built. There has been 4 generations of 737s now, with the 737-8 being the latest, and despite always having new improvements, something never changes: our warm hospitality.
In our spot, we see several Malaysians recount memories they have about Malaysia Airlines through the decades, mirroring the very first maiden Boeing generation 1 flight all the way up to its latest incarnation, the Boeing 737-8 Gen 4. All the memories we shared are real ones collected through interviews and forums. It’s a way to feature the timelessness of Malaysian Hospitality through the ages, and how we always manage to find ways to make people feel at home.
