In Malaysia, KFC and Malay weddings have always gone hand in hand — from hantaran gifts to post-wedding feasts. But rarely do we get to make those moments even bigger. So when love came knocking, we saw an opportunity to turn a real love story into something truly original.

Back in 2021, two influencers — Irfan and Ellyna — met on the set of a KFC commercial. A simple shoot sparked something special. Fast forward a few years, their engagement video on TikTok went viral, revealing how their love story began with KFC. The internet went crazy!

Solution

We heard the chatter and seized the moment to celebrate their love by bringing their story full circle. We designed a wedding inspired by where it all began. Every detail had meaning: specially designed buckets of chicken at every table, a KFC-inspired cake telling their story, and décor that celebrated their love for KFC. All for just RM25,000 and one of our most unexpected activations ever.
