4As Malaysia wanted to host the first Kancils Award Festival after a 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic. How could this year’s festival be more than another award show?

Solution

Themed ‘The Hero’s Journey’, based on the popular storytelling framework, it starts with the ‘Call To Adventure’ to “The Ordeal‘ and finally to the ‘Ressurection’ and ‘Return With The Elixer’. The theme chosen is a reflection of the Malaysian ad industry’s fortitude and defiance through challenging times and emerging as a hero at the end of it all.
