This project explores the idea of a single vehicle becoming the main personal or family car of the near future, instead of owning separate cars for different tasks. The concept, YVELA, combines the stance and efficiency of a coupé SUV with the practicality of a pickup. The rear section is fully transformable: it can stay closed as a sleek, low-drag body for daily commuting, or open and extend into an accessible load bed for carrying cargo, equipment, or outdoor gear. This allows the same vehicle to support city use, work use, and weekend use without changing platforms. The design also considers long-distance usability through an electric AWD layout (independent front and rear motors) and serviceability features such as quick-swap outer tire layers. Overall, the project aims to show how form, utility, and lifestyle flexibility can be integrated into one crossover platform, rather than treated as separate vehicle categories.
