Rational

Reimagining the Johor Chingay Parade brings this 150-year-old tradition into a youthful world. Through vibrant flat illustrations, the project gives each ritual and character a modern, lively spirit while keeping their roots. By focusing on five key ceremonies, it offers an accessible way for young audiences to rediscover Johor’s cultural heritage and break the stereotype that tradition belongs only to the old.
